Advent Calendar Day 24 - and 25

I can't believe it's the next to last day of the Advent Calendar already - what? Yes I know most Advent Calendars are only 24 days - but I have 25 years to being published to celebrate .

So there are 25 giveaways - but I'm posting the last two today and I'll be getting Sid on the job of picking winners on the 27th - he'll be too full of chicken and gravy and salmon cat dinners to want to eat anything else before then.

Yesterday's winner is Eva please email me your postal address Eva

Oh and today I had my best Christmas present from my editor - the book I wrote and submitted and was tweaking - remember that one? The tweaks came in back about Day 14 on the Advent Calendar - well, they actually came in earlier than that but they disappeared into the ether. Anyway, tweaks went in - and accodring to my editor they are 'spot on' and the book is'fabulous'! It's accepted and scheduled - but not titled yet - so I'll tel you all about that when I get achance to breathe after the big day. But I'm really thrilled that this one is accepted - it's a bit special to me.

So to share the celebrations I have two great last giveaways on the Advent Calendar - they are both 3 in 1 collections - Today's book is . . .
The Alcolar Family trilogy (at least I hope it is - I have yet to find a spare copy but if I don't find that, I'll put in another 3 in 1

This book contains The Twelve Month Mistress, The Spaniard's Inconvenient Wife and Bound By Blackmail.

And the prize for Christmas Day itself is - Claimed by The Sicilian

This collection has in it The Sicilian's Wife, Sicilian Husband, Blackmailed Bride and The Sicilian's Red-Hot Revenge
So the final question(s) are - and please answer both to be included in both draws -
1. For today - have you hung up any mistletoe and who would you most like to kiss underneath it?
2. For Christmas Day - when you'vve opened your presents - then what do you do? Go for a walk? Watch TV? Fall asleep. I think I'm going to be doing all three
Or you can just post a Cjristmas Greeting to all the other readers who come and visit. There might be only some of you who are posting but I had over 400 visitors yesterday - if you were one of them and didn't join in the Advent Calendar - please leave a message this time. You never know - you might win!
I'll be back after Boxing Day and announce the final winners then

So I just need to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all of you. I hope you have a wonderful happy, peaceful and fun time - whatever you're celebrating.

No, I don't have any mistletoe. If I did, would George Clooney come to kiss me below it? Ahhhhh. A girl can wish....

After presents are opened, we talk with family on the phone, have a quick lunch, go visit two of DH's brothers/families, come back here for supper, and then three of us plop in front of the computers (me blogging, while my kids "Facebook"), and my DH watches TV. I think I hear my pajamas calling me, LOL!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Merry Christmas everyone!

We have no mistletoe here, but if we did I'd love to kiss my husband under it.

After we've opened our gifts, we phone family and then make lunch. After lunch we'll watch DVDs, eat chocolates and then I suspect I'll fall asleep!

No mistletoe, but I would like to kiss Henry Cavill from "The Tudors." I would probably watch some TV after opening presents. Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas Kate and all the readers on this blog!

We don't have any mistletoe in our house, but if we did I would love to kiss my favourite Canadian hockey player (well he's now retired actually) Eric Lindros, who is absolutely gorgeous! He is who comes to mind for me when I think of tall, dark, and handsome!

As for Christmas day after opening presents and drinking Eggnog flavoured coffee, we usually phone family and then start working on our Christmas dinner which we have at our house. We also do a final clean up before everyone arrives. Then if there is time we watch a Christmas movie like Love Actually (my favourite!).

And thank you Kate for the novella book I won back on day 6 or 7, it just arrived this week. I look forward to reading it!

After opening gifts Christmas morning, we talk to friends and relatives on the phone. Then we get to working on Christmas dinner. We might go visiting in the afternoon while everything is cooking.

We don't have mistletoe, but if we did I would be wishing for...my hubby!

On Christmas morning my hub prepares all the veg and the stuffing (from scratch), and I sort the bird out ready for the oven. When my daughter and her boyfriend arrives alongside my hub's mum and mine, we open presents. After dinner we all sit round the TV and more than not fall asleep!
Wishing you Kate, your family and everyone who has posted a comment on here, a very Happy Christmas and All the Best for 2011.

Kate and other readers, Wishing all of your a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Didn't hang any mistletoe this year.

We already opened presents on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day we go to Church and then on to who ever is hosting Christmas that year. We all take turns and have a large family gathering. This year it will be my sister's.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

My family doesn't hang mistletoe, but if we did I would love to kiss my future husband, Henry Cavill (who played Charles Brandon on the Tudors), underneath it...hahaha! If only...=)

And we open presents early Christmas Day, so afterwards we eat brunch and then start preparing for Christmas dinner. We're eaters!

Thanks so much, Kate, for doing this giveaway!! Sorry I've missed the last few - final exams, packing, traveling, and spending time with my family got in the way - but I'm glad to have made it back for the last 2! Happy holidays!!

After we have opened our presents we sit around and remember good times and look forward to making new good times. My 24 year old daughter just found out her illness returned and who knows how long she has. We need to cherish the times we have.

Merry Christmas!!! Thanks for a great 25 days :)

1. I Croatia we don't have this kind of customs around the mistletoe but I would definitely like to kiss my boyfriend if I do happen to find myself underneath it :)
2. We open our presents after the Midnight Mass so it's off to bed for us.

Hi,

I just got unshackled from the stove to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year.

We didn't hang mistletoe this year...sigh.

I was very busy the last two days, mainly cooking, cleaning up and seeing that my 15 family and guests were all happy and well-fed over the last two days....phew.

Now its a week of relaxing, recuperation and reading before work starts again.

A very Merry Christmas to all and an extra special message to Kate on her 25th publish anniversary!!

Yep got the mistletoe. My wish is that one day I get to kiss Mr Right eventually.

Presents were opened after a lovely lunch and only once Santa arrived to hand them out. We then jumped in the pool and swam. Thereafter we played poker and ate some more. Carried on until late in the evening but it was a great day with friends and family.

Regards, Rita

I really ought to say I would kiss my hubby under the mistletoe, but if I have a choice....

Richard Armitage!

After Christmas dinner, I'm usually to be found filling the dishwasher, but after that, I take the dog for a walk on the beach. The beach on Christmas Day! It's bracing, but it's gorgeous.

Happy Boxing Day "Eve"! I hope you got everything you wanted :)

1. I did not buy any mistletoe this year, I didn't even see any in the stores, but I wasn't looking for it so I might have just missed it. Aside from my hot husband, I wouldn't mind sampling a hunky man like Theo Antonakos under the mistletoe!

2. I always enjoy a good nap on the couch Christmas afternoon. That way I am all rested up for the post-Christmas shopping!

Hi Kate,

Me again...just wanted to let you know that my bokk arrived today.

Thanks so much. I think it's a miracle it arrived so quickly inspite of the snow, closed airports and the such.
